A few weekends ago I went to the Zoo to get some more practice
Even with the Sun high over my head and blowing out all the pictures I managed to get a few shots!

So my producer and friend Rebecca got married in Hawaii on June 12, 2010. Once again I wasn’t the main photographer for the event but of course that doesn’t stop me from clicking away! Especially not at a wedding as beautiful as Rebecca’s. What could be more of a perfect setting then 50 of your closest friends on the beachfront of the Sugarman Estate in Hawaii with the cool breeze brushing through your hair at every angle. Bliss~

so the LA food fest is back this year and its gonna be an awesome event
Last year the event was so packed that there were lines wrapping around the trucks causing a ruckus
This year they are capping admission and hosting at the Rose bowl which is a HUGE venue. No need to worry about trampling over others to get to your favorite goodies.
check it out here!

Remember July 24th! Mark those calenders!!
I met Brian and Nina about a year and half ago while snowboarding in Mammoth. Instantly we clicked, Nina we had so many similarities and as for Brian well had a lot of the same interests and it just so happened he was in the same industry. They are two of the sweetest people in the world and totally know how to have fun as you can tell from the the pictures
ENJOY!
Also check out their Photos from their Photographer Christine Farrah. The engagement post here and the wedding post here

Here are some photos from the Strawberry Festival!
Thanks Hao, Sophia and Brian for a lovely time
I woke up terribly late even though I was oncall for work and I realized that the Esclate Live 2010 was broadcasting so I jumped out of bed and flipped the lid of my laptop open to be disappointed and realized that they were on lunch break and wishing I was there too
Finally, it was starting the first speaker was Jasmine Star and she fabulous as always and of course she is always keeping it real. She gave an engaging speech about marketing through social media.
After her Julieanne Kost approached the stage. She was absolutely hilarious and really informative
I learned more about Photoshop in her 1 hr speech then I think I learned in my 4 years in college! hahaha well maybe
The new features that are coming with CS5 are so exciting and I can’t wait to try em out!
I am so glad that Escalate offered a Live broadcast of the their conference!!! thank you!
On Sat afternoon I made my way through tons and tons of traffic towards Newport Beach, ca. Finally after an hour of driving I made it! South Coast plaza signs leading my way. As I parked and walked through the doors I asked the hostess where the Jasmine Star party was located. She pointed to the back room and as I slowly made my way back there I saw Jasmine as soon as I walked in. She came and gave me a giant bear hug and felt really special
One by One all the previous workshop attendees slowly trickled in and then behind mewere a loud screams as you hear my fellow November Workshop members squeal in joy at the site of one another. It was a heartwarming moment and I felt super fortunate to see them all again. Last time I regretted that I wasn’t able to mingle with them before the workshop but this time I was overjoyed that I had a chance to see them all again and hear about their progress in the photography world! a Shout out to of course the fabulous Jasmine Star, JD, Michelle, Anda, Gladys, Julie and Ala and all the other fabulous workshop cats you guys ROCK!
Thanks Jaz for the lovely mixer! I had a blast and I can’t wait to see you on Escalate Live!
On Sunday I went to church in the morning at SovereignGrace in downtown LA
I recently started attending this church since its not one of the uber conservative christian churches that I have grown up in. Not that I have a problem with conservative churches but I come to realize they are just not made for me. Plus another perk is that its much closer to home then the previous church I was attending.
After service I convinced one of my friends to go to the Annual Strawberry Festival in Oxnard ca.
So we grabbed a quick lunch and drove and hour North on the PCH to our destination.
After the misguided parking instructions we finally made it inside and there were stands and stands of different foods and vendors selling strawberry themed foods.
Inside we met up with two other friends and perused the food court. We snagged some strawberry shortcakes, Sweet corn, deep fried twinkies, and loaded garlic fries Yum! There was a 80s rockband playing in the background that made me feel as if I were in the middle of Rock Band. Eventually we decided it was time to head home and grab a box of strawberries but to our horror everything was already SOLD OUT! fail~ next time
Over all it was a fun experience and I had a blast eating tons of strawberries yum~~~

Yumm Green Tea latte from Urth Caffe!
